This is an artist’s proof print.
(If you’re not familiar with this term, it is a sample that the printer will provide to make sure the print looks correct.)
This print is a slightly odd size. Approximately 7.5 x 10 in. (as it’s not important to have the proof be the actual size of the final print to be able to demonstrate the image quality).
The print is coated with a special velvet matte laminate to add longevity, protection from harmful UV and the occasional fingerprint. The laminate also allows you to frame your print without glass.
